Therapeutic Indications:
Constipation. All forms of constipation. Intestinal fermentation and putrefaction processes. Meteorism. Flatulence (elevated diaphragm state). Intestinal autointoxication. Constipation due to hemorrhoids.

Dosage:
Oral route. Adults and children 12 years and older: as a mild digestive purgative and carminative, 1 to 2 tablets up to 3 times a day during or after meals with some liquid. If a stronger effect is required, the nighttime dose can be increased to 3 or 4 tablets. For intense cleansing of the digestive tract and gas removal prior to diagnostic evaluations or surgeries, 6 to 8 tablets may be administered in a single dose at night.

Special Warnings and Precautions for Use:
No side effects have been recorded if EUCARBON® tablets are taken according to the dosage. Excessive consumption of laxatives may lead to a disturbance in water and electrolyte balance, which in turn decreases tolerance to digitalis medications. Keep out of reach of children. Contraindicated in children under 12 years of age, and during pregnancy and lactation.
